The difference between roller conveyors and chain conveyors is based on the working principle:
Roller conveyors: consist of a series of rollers, and the materials are transported by the rotation of the rollers. The rollers can be powered rollers (driven by motors) or unpowered rollers (relying on gravity or manual push).
Chain conveyors: convey materials through chains. The chains are usually made of metal and equipped with chain plates or trays to carry the materials.
