1. Motor power calculation for roller conveyors
The motor power of conveyor machine is an important parameter of the powered roller conveyors. Its calculation method is determined based on factors such as the length of the roller conveyor systems, material weight, belt speed and transmission efficiency. The specific formula is as follows:
P = (L × m × g × v × η) / 367
P is the motor power (unit: kilowatt)
L is the conveyor line length (unit: meter)
m is the material weight (unit: kilogram)
First of all, we need to understand what are powered roller conveyors and accumulation roller conveyors?
